Tramping trips

Unless otherwise stated, club trips depart either from the 'Z' Station (formerly Shell) on Carlton Corner at 1 Papanui Road (next to Liquor Land and opposite Derby Street) or from Caltex Russley on the corner of Russley Road and Yaldhurst Rd. If the departure point is not specified in the trip schedule, you may assume it's Z Carlton. Day trips usually depart at 8am on Saturday or Sunday. Weekend trips may leave on either Friday evening or Saturday morning.

Every trip gives an indication of petrol costs per person. Please bring it in cash to help the leader divvy up at the end. Trip grades are explained here.

If you are not a member of the club but are interested in joining one of these trips please contact new members representative via the Contacts page. Prospective members and non-members are required to put their names on the trip list or make contact with the trip leader before turning up for a trip.

For trips marked early start all potential participants should contact the trip leader first.
